Being a Debbie Macomber fan while waiting for a new series release I read some of her first books that I've never read. What can I say but for me I loved it. It was a fun, funny and entertaining book. Read it in a couple of hours the other night and would recommend it.
Readers who like magic and romance will enjoy this book. It's a little predictable but short and fun to read. A well developed short story that leaves you wanting to know what happens next.
I really love the way this author leads you on a journey. She writes and it is like a warm cuppa hot chocolate. While I do not think this is the best book I have read, it's good enough I would keep it.
This is definitely a different twist to other romance books I've read. Are you superstitious or believe in magic? Can an old lady's wedding dress really cause a relationship to develop for no good reason? This is a must read for good entertainment and a delightful love story.
I just enjoy so much this book it has humor and love and lovely situacion so well written by this author that I really love and enjoy.When I read any of her books and I am done I always have such a good feeling and for me that means a lot! Wonderful book.
If you have ever read a Debbie Macomber book you know what an excellent writer she is. This book is the first in a two book series surrounding a wedding dress and the magical qualities it seems to have on two young women's lives. Even when they don't believe or want to believe in it. Good reading.
Loved it. The reaction of Shelly Hansen upon receiving "the wedding dress" was priceless and then meeting a good-looking man named Mark by falling off an escalator into his arms led to witty conversations between the two with much denial on her part about the dress legacy. Debbie Macomber interlaced a very romantic novel with humor from beginning to end. Definitely recommend this book to all who enjoy a fun read.
